Fire calls
The Prior Lake Fire Department responded to the following fire and medical calls from Nov. 16 to 22:
Sunday, Nov. 16
Firefighters put out a barn fire that started at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 4000 block of 190th Street in Spring Lake Township.
A wood boiler used to heat the barn appears to be the cause of the fire, Fire Chief Doug Hartman said.
Firefighters responded to a house fire in the 14900 block of Highland Court at about 12:41 a.m. Tuesday.
The Prior Lake Fire Department responded to the following fire and medical calls from Nov. 9 to 15:
Sunday, Nov. 9
Firefighters were canceled to a fire call in the 16000 block of Kildeer Lane.
Firefighters responded to a house fire in the 14900 block of Highland Court at about 12:45 a.m. Tuesday.
No one was injured, but a family dog died as a result of a fire, Prior Lake Fire Chief Doug Hartman said.
The fire is believed to have started on the back porch of the home and spread into the home.
The Prior Lake Fire Department responded to the following fire and medical calls from Nov. 2 to 8:
Sunday, Nov. 2
Firefighters responded to a fire alarm in the 14900 block of Manitou Road. It was a false alarm.

Sunday, Oct. 26
No calls.
Monday, Oct. 27

Firefighters were called to a house fire in the 5700 block of Starview Lane in Spring Lake Township at 3:21 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 3.
Firefighters responded to a call of a house fire in the 5700 block of Starview Lane in Spring Lake Township on Monday afternoon. Firefighters extinguished a house fire in the 6300 block of Conroy Street at about 6:21 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31.
Prior Lake Fire Chief Doug Hartman believes the fire started as the result of an unattended gas grill that was outside the home.
