Seating for the dinner will be at 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. The dinner costs $14 for adults and $6 for children ages 6 to 10. All the money raised will go towards supporting youth mission trips to serve others. New church coming to ShakopeeOctober 11, 2007 - 11:39am — Ruth Anne MaddoxA new church is being planted in Shakopee and a preview worship service is planned for 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, in the auditorium at Shakopee Junior High School, 200 10th Ave. E. Students at St. Paul Lutheran School stop for a music break during the Mini Walk for Diabetes Sept. 27. From left, pre-kindergarteners Quinn Ruzicka, Owen Bergren, both of Prior Lake, Alexa Wyum of Savage, and Daniel King Jr. of Elko, joined others on the hike around the parking lot, while chanting "Walk to find a cure." The annual walk raises funds for diabetes research. The local team will collect donations at www.diabetes.org/walk for the team "Calvin's Cure Club," named for teacher Tamara Lammer's son.
