The Rev. Stuart J. Schroeder
A memorial service for the Rev. Stuart Schroder is Saturday, Aug. 9, at 4 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Prior Lake. There will be a reception in St. Paul’s Fellowship Hall immediately following the service.
Culver E. LaSalle
Culver "Pete" LaSalle, 72, of Prior Lake, The Villages, Fla., and formerly of Eden Prairie, died Sunday, July 27, 2008 after complications resulting from his short battle with acute leukemia.

Preceded in death by father and mother, Ernest V. and Catherine (Culver) LaSalle; sisters, Joanne Feist (Jack), Marilyn Giwonjna (Ben), Jeanne Squire (John), and Betty Cadwell (Sanford). Survived by his wife of 50 years, lover, buddy and best friend, Eileen (Kelly) LaSalle; sons, Todd (Kathy), Mark (Lynn) and Jeffrey Scott (Denise); grandchildren, Jacob, Jessie, Maxwell, Charlie and Maddy.
Pete was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Germany from 1953-56 as an armored tank driver. Pete had a 50-year career in real estate and was president of C.E. LaSalle & Associates, Real Estate Appraisers & Consultants. He was active in the business community, serving as president of the Society of Real Estate Appraisers (SRPA), the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), the International Right of Way Association (IR/WA), Founding Member Real Estate Appraisal Section of the Board of Realtors, and president of the Decathlon Athletic Club. Pete was a longstanding member of the Bloomington Businessmen's Association. He was an active golfer and loved to travel, hunt and fish, especially with his boys. His wife Eileen was his constant companion and partner/bookkeeper in the appraisal business and 814 LLC, real estate investments. Pete lived a full life with family and friends and traveled extensively, visiting five continents and too many countries to mention.
Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, Aug. 1, at 11 a.m. at Historic Fort Snelling Chapel; interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday, July 31, from 5-8 p.m. at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel. Memorials preferred to The Salvation Army or donor's choice.
