Back in our Nov. 17 issue, we criticized residents calling for
Chris Lind’s resignation as a Prior Lake-Savage Area School Board member-elect.
We did so because Lind, no matter how people feel about him, won a seat on the
board fair and square in a public election.
School Board Member-Elect Chris Lind of Savage is asking the Prior Lake-Savage Area School District for a monetary settlement.
Lind, who was fired from his job as a campus supervisor at Prior Lake High School last summer, has said he was wrongfully terminated by the district.

School Board Member-Elect Chris Lind of Savage has acquired legal counsel and submitted a letter to the Prior Lake-Savage Area School District, said Kristi Mussman, district communications coordinator.
Attorney David Thompson submitted the letter on behalf of Lind on Dec. 19, Mussman said. The nature of the letter and its contents have not been disclosed.
A petition calling for Prior Lake-Savage Area School Board Member-Elect Chris Lind to release his personnel file and/or resign from the board has been posted online as of Dec. 13.
