The Prior Lake Police Department responded to the following incidents between Aug. 13 and 20. This is not a comprehensive list of all incidents to which the department responded.

Accidents

Aug. 16: A 70-year-old Burnsville woman reported a hit-and-run crash in the parking lot of Little Six Casino, 2354 Sioux Trail. It was reported that someone hit the woman’s car while she was in the parking lot and drove away.

DWI

Aug. 17: A 25-year-old Jordan woman was arrested and jailed for second-degree driving while impaired (DWI) and a stop-light violation in the 16600 block of Highway 13. The woman was convicted of two previous DWIs that occurred in 2004 and 2007.

Theft

Aug. 15: A gas drive off valued at $30 was reported at Holiday Gas Station, 4460 Fountain Hills Drive.

Aug. 16: Electronic equipment valued at $1,885 was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 16700 block of Windsor Lane.

Aug. 16: A window was smashed out and an iPod valued at $200 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 13900 block of Kensington Avenue. There was also $100 damage to the vehicle.

Aug. 17: A stereo, speakers and an amp was reported stolen from an unlocked car in the 14500 block of Rosewood Road. The value of the items stolen was $1,150.

Aug. 18: A GPS unit valued at $150 was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 16200 block of St. Paul Avenue.

Aug. 19: A radar detector valued at $120 was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 5100 block of Wellington Court.

Aug. 19: A satellite radio, sunglasses and a gym bag were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 5100 block of Wellington Court. The value of the items stolen was $300.

Vandalism

Aug. 14: Vandalism was reported to a vehicle in the 16000 block of Cambridge Court. It was reported that an unknown substance was poured into a person’s gas tank.

Liquor law violations

 Aug. 14: Police responded to a noise complaint at Ponds Park, 17100 Toronto Ave. A 14-year-old Minneapolis girl, a 15-year-old Prior Lake boy, a 15-year-old Prior Lake girl and a 16-year-old Prior Lake boy were all cited for minor consumption of alcohol.

Aug. 14: Police cited 12 people for minor consumption of alcohol after receiving a report of underage drinking near Fremont Avenue and Fremont Circle. The following were cited for minor consumption: a 17-year-old Prior Lake boy, two 18-year-old women from Savage, four 18-year-old Prior Lake women, an 18-year-old Prior Lake man, a 19-year-old woman from Savage, two 19-year-old Prior Lake men and a 20-year-old Eden Prairie woman.

Aug. 17: While investigating another call police observed several people who had cans of beer and appeared to be under 21 in the 16600 block of Five Hawks Avenue. A 17-year-old Prior Lake boy, two 19-year-old Prior Lake women and a 20-year-old Burnsville woman were all cited for minor consumption of alcohol.

Miscellaneous

Aug. 13: Police arrested and jailed a 37-year-old Prior Lake man for disorderly conduct and obstruction with force in the 14300 block of Rutgers Street after responding to a property-line dispute  

Aug. 15: A 26-year-old West St. Paul man and a 20-year-old South St. Paul woman were both cited for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance that tested to be cocaine at Mystic Lake Casino, 2400 Mystic Lake Blvd.
